Due to the Pandemic , I was able to ferret away and attempt a more arranged album of songs than I have ever done before. It was not without its struggles.... some of the musicians didn't have their own recording studios and I had to set one up in the shed..... I struggled personally in giving a quality to the album which I thought not possible.. I have to thank my Buddhist practice and all those around me who supported and encouraged me in order to reach the finish line.Otoe, Eric, Kyoko, my family Jo and Laurie, Kiki and JM.... I am eternally grateful.
Humanistic is a group that I started some years ago with some astounding musicians that were willing to play the compositions that I conjured up. I have made some recordings previously but I think I was able to make this album of winter into spring twice as good...... if art is ever quantifiable. thanks for listening ! Vince
